DINWIDDIE, Va. (WTVR)—An elderly woman with dementia that went missing Tuesday was found safe tonight.
Dinwiddie officials said that Catherine Frazer, the 71-year-old female who had been missing in Dinwiddie County, was located by a tracking team composed of personnel from various search and rescue organizations.
Officials said that Frazer was located in good condition in a forested area, approximately half mile from where she was last seen this morning, near Coleman Lake Road.
Frazer was taken to Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg. No updates on her condition are available at this time.
Investigators had worried about finding her safely, with weather temperatures dropping throughout the night.
