WASHINGTON (WTVR) – The day after Election Day, construction crews are already working on an inauguration and media platform near the White House for President Obama’s second term.

The reviewing stand is being built outside the gates of the north lawn of the White House. That’s where the president and the first family will watch the Inaugural Parade on Monday, Jan. 21.

If you don’t get tickets to watch the historic event, you can buy them to watch the event from a DC-area museum.

The Newseum, which is along the Pennsylvania Avenue parade route , plans to offer a special viewing package.

For $100, you’ll  be able to view the inauguration on the museum’s giant screen, visit the museum and watch the parade.

The Newseum’s outdoor terraces will be reserved for TV networks and other journalists covering the inauguration and won’t be open to the public.
