ROANOKE, Va. (WTVR) - The parents of Roanoke teen on life support are fighting for his sperm. Rufus McGill Jr. has been in critical condition since a car crash more than two weeks ago.

And according to the Roanoke Times, his parents want to harvest their son's sperm so they can have grandchildren if he dies.

They say they know it's something their son would want - and that they've even found a University of Virginia Medical Center urologist willing to perform the procedure.

Rufus is 19 years old, which means his parents are no longer considered his legal guardians.

They say they've called lawyers about getting a court order, but none were interested in taking the case.
