DOSWELL, Va. (WTVR) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will rally voters Thursday afternoon at Meadow Event Park in Doswell.

You can watch Gov. Romney's campaign rally, scheduled to start around 1:45 p.m., on the WTVR.com live stream.

CBS 6 political analyst Dr. Bob Holsworth said he expected the tone of the campaign to change as the Northeast continues to recover from Hurricane Sandy.

"I think you're going to see them [Mitt Romney and Barack Obama] make a more positive argument about their leadership, about what they can provide the nation," Dr. Holsworth said. "You may still get the negative attacks coming from Paul Ryan, Joe Biden and the surrogates, but my sense is that Sandy is going to change the tone of the campaign at the top. It's not going to change too many of the commercials, but it's certainly going to change the presentations that both Mitt Romney and President Obama give over the last five days."

The Romney rally is taking place on the same day a YouTube video was posted with Richmond ties.  The president of Bill's Barbecue, Rhoda Elliott, is featured in the nearly 2 1/2 minute video.  The restaurant recently closed its doors after more than 80 years in business.  And to blame, according to the owners and president of the chain, were the growing operational costs and the tough economy.

"When President Obama took office there was a lot of hope that things were going to change, well he didn't change," Rhoda Elliott said.  "There are more people on unemployment today and that is because the small businesses are failing cause we can't make it.  Things have not changed.  The pattern is no different now except for worse than it was four years ago.  We can't stand four more years."

Local Democrats responded to the video shortly after it was posted.  Democratic Delegate Jennifer McClellan said in part:

"The fact is that in the last four years there have been 18 tax cuts for small businesses and 31 consecutive months of private sector job growth.  There have been over 5 million new jobs created and there is still more work to do, but we have definitely come a long way than where we were four years ago when the president took office."

Romney's campaign stop comes a day before First Lady Michelle Obama is set to rally at Virginia State University in Petersburg on Friday.
