(WTVR) – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration tracked Hurricane Sandy from birth to landfall. Check out their time lapse video here:

The images are complied from NOAA's GOES satellites from October 21 to 30, 2012.

It shows the birth of Tropical Storm Sandy in the Caribbean Sea, the intensification and movement of Sandy in the Atlantic Ocean along the U.S. East Coast, and Hurricane Sandy making landfall in New Jersey on October 29 and then moving inland to Pennsylvania.
