RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Central Virginia was largely spared from the wrath of “Superstorm” Sandy, but there has been damage in the area.

In fact, a viewer contacted the CBS 6 Newsroom to report a downed tree, which had smashed into a home, in the 6800 block of Three Chopt Road.

Catie Beck stopped by to check it out Tuesday afternoon.
