RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Police identified two people killed in an early morning accident in Richmond. Police identified the victims as Keith D. Fordham, 52, the driver and Michael T. Overton, 51, the passenger. Both men were ejected from the vehicle, police said.

The deaths were being blamed on overnight storms associated with Hurricane Sandy.

The accident happened just after 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Mosby and O Streets.

The vehicle was attempting to make a left turn from Martin Luther King, Jr. Bridge onto Mosby Street when it hit a light pole, according to Richmond Police spokesman James Mercante.
