David Letterman hosts “Late Show” in empty theater
(WTVR) — New York City looks like a ghost town due to “Sandy,” but that didn’t stop David Letterman from going through with his taping of Monday’s “Late Show.”
Letterman taped the entire show without his usual live audience. Letterman was not all alone, Actor Denzel Washington served as a special guest.
Later the “Late Show’s” Executive Producer Rob Burnett, tweeted that the show was “Bizarre and Beautiful.”
Tonight's Late Show: bizarre and beautiful.
