(WTVR) – Imprisoned for the 2002 sniper spree, Lee Boyd Malvo is now claiming he was sexually abused by the attack’s mastermind, John Allen Muhammed.

Malvo told the Today Show’s Matt Lauer that Muhammed sexually abused him nearly every day from the time he was 15 until he was arrested at the age of 17.

It’s been 10 years this month since the sniper attacks, and Mohammed has since been executed.

Malvo says he’s only coming forward with this information after years of therapy to deal with his guilt over the shootings that claimed ten lives.

Malvo is serving his life sentence at Virginia’s Red Onion State facility.
