Barnes and Noble detects PIN pad tampering at stores

(CBS) Barnes and Noble says devices used by customers to swipe credit and debit cards have been tampered with in 63 of its stores in 9 states.

The company is warning its customers to check for any unauthorized transactions and to change their pin right away.

So far, no Virginia stores have been added to the list of affected branches.
