Fatal car accident in Chesterfield

Chesterfield, Va. (WTVR) – Chesterfield Police officers are investigating a fatal car accident that occurred Sunday morning.

Police responded to call around 9:03 a.m. of a collision between a Honda Civic and GMC pick up truck. We are told the Honda Civic was making a left turn from the southbound exit ramp of Powhite Parkway onto Courthouse Road when it was struck by the pick up truck traveling north on Courthouse Road.

The 26 year old driver of the Honda died at the scene. There is no identification information at this time.

Police continue their investigation into this crash.
