RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Some lucky movie-goers will get a chance to preview Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” during two, special advance-screenings being held in Richmond and Petersburg.

The sneak peek screenings will be held on Nov. 8 by invitation only in Richmond and Petersburg. Details on the exact locations have not been released.

Richmond and Petersburg were selected as film locations by Spielberg after a concerted effort by the Virginia Film Office to bring the movie production to Virginia.

But if you don’t receive an invite — take heart. Spielberg will debut extended clips of the film on 60 Minutes on Sunday. 60 Minutes airs at 7 p.m. here on CBS 6. [BONUS:  Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” more than 10 years in the making]

Lincoln” will be released in theaters nationwide Nov. 16.
