Accident delays traffic on I-95 north, south

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Avoid I-95 northbound — and southbound — in Richmond Friday afternoon.

An accident near the Boulevard exit has closed two lanes on I-95 north and is also delaying traffic for southbound drivers. 

As a result, traffic was backed up around 4 miles as of 5:20 p.m. on I-95 south. Also, the wreck backed up traffic on I-95 south around 2 miles. 

There has been no word on injuries or the number of cars involved in the accident.
