DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Chris Bean says the game camera he set up on his Dinwiddie County property usually takes pictures of deer, foxes, raccoons and the occasional coyote that wanders on to his land.

Wednesday morning around 3:45 however, Bean says his camera took pictures of two men who stole a four wheeler and trailer from his home.

Bean says he was able to recover the stolen vehicle from behind the Namozine Fire Department. He says the men must have ditched it there because they could not get it started. Bean says his neighbor had three dirt bikes stolen from his property around 5:30 a.m.

Major William Knott, with the Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Office, said investigators were using the pictures to help identify the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Petersburg\Dinwiddie Crime Solvers at (804) 861-1212.
