Police investigate two separate home invasions in Richmond

Richmond, Va. (WTVR) - Richmond police are investigating two separate home invasions that occurred Saturday night.

The first home invasion occurred around 7:30 pm in the 3400 block of Decatur Street. Three victims were inside the home when a resident heard a knock at the door. Three black male suspects forced their way in and took miscellaneous items from the home.

There is no other suspect information at this time.

The second home invasion occurred around 9:30 pm Saturday night. VCU Police were contacted regarding a home invasion robbery that took place in Oregon Hill neighborhood.

We are told armed subjects entered the residence through an unlocked door and took property from the victims. Suspects are described as five to six black male subjects with thin builds armed with handguns wearing ski masks or having their faces covered with towels. See descriptions below.
