Vehicle crash causes power outages in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police responded to a vehicle crash on the 3600 block of Courthouse Road, near Hull Street, at 1 a.m.

They say the driver of a 2006 Ford truck ran off the road and hit a utility pole that had an electrical transformer.  The driver was not hurt, but the crash causes brief power outages.

Crews are currently on scene repairing the pole.  It is expected to be completed by noon.   One lane is closed at the intersection of Courthouse Road and Hull Street.
