Brake problems in Honda Pilot prompt federal safety investigation

(CBS News) – U.S. safety officials are investigating brake problems in the Honda Pilot.

Federal safety regulators say the brakes may come on without drivers stepping on the pedal.

No crashes or injuries have been reported, but more than 200 owners of the 2005 Pilot say the SUV nearly slowed to a stop while they were driving on the highway.
