POWHATAN, Va. (WTVR) – A memorial service Friday evening will honor the infant known as “The Miracle Baby.”
Six-week-old Harper Stanfield survived for weeks with a rare birth defect called congenital diaphragmatic hernia, but she died Sunday morning after several major surgeries.
In the weeks since Harper Ann’s birth, nearly four million people around the world have heard her story online.
Friday’s memorial service is open to the public and will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Powhatan Community Church.
