Chesterfield man wanted for weekend homicide

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico police are trying to find a man wanted in connection with a man's death last  weekend. 

Henrico police were called about a fatal shooting in the 8000 block of Shrader Road just after 2 a.m. Sunday. Investigators found 25-year-old Roderick Moore, of the 8100 block of Bradbury Road, shot dead inside a car.

Henrico police said Tuesday in a news release that detectives obtained warrants for 29-year-old Derrick Engram in connection with Moore's death. 

Engram is wanted on first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon and throwing a missile against an occupied vehicle charges.

Police describe Engram as a black male, 5-feet 10-inches tall, 170-180 lbs, long dread locks with a tattoo on his neck (“Breathe”).  His last known local address is in Chesterfield.  He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Detectives are also looking to identify a person of interest who was with Engram the night of the shooting.  She is described as a black female in her mid 20’s, 5’4”-5’6”, thin build, light to medium complexion with her hair in an afro style ponytail, last seen wearing light gray jeans, pink halter top and a cream colored hooded sweater.
