Three men killed in Sunday shootings

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Three men were killed in three separate shootings across Central Virginia Sunday. Police are still investigating all shootings – which do not appear related.

Just before midnight Sunday, a man was shot and killed in Richmond’s Oak Grove neighborhood, according to an email from Richmond Police. Police spokeswoman Karla Peters¬† said officers were called to the 2400 block of Ingram Avenue at 11:27 p.m. Sunday.

There they found the shooting victim – a man described to be in his late 40s or early 50s. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Peters said. No information about a suspect nor a motive was released.

Earlier Sunday, Richmond Police were called to the Hillside Court community – where another man was shot and killed. That man, who police identified as 37-year-old Andre Seward, was found around 4 a.m. on Lone Street.

And a death investigation continued in Henrico County where police were called to investigate a “suspicious¬†death.” Police were called to the Dumbarton/Lakeside area of the West End around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. There, in the 3000 block of Kenwood Avenue, off Hilliard Road, they found an adult male unresponsive with a chest wound.
