LOUDON COUNTY (WTVR) – A gay couple that was married in New York has filed a lawsuit, saying their wedding photo is being used without their permission on anti-gay marriage fliers.

Loudoun County Supervisor Eugene Delgauio also heads the group, “Public Advocate of the United States,” which is responsible for the distributing the fliers.

The photo was used to target a Colorado lawmaker, Senator Jean White.

The words, “State Senator Jean White’s idea of ‘Family Values?” are printed over the photo.

Brian Edwards and husband Tom Privitere are asking for a declaration that the act was illegal, and they are also asking for monetary damages.
