Lemon Grove, Ca. (WTVR) - A bus driver in Southern California wants an apology after he say he was given pot brownies last month without his consent.
Mark Hall says a co-worker brought them in and three drivers ate them.
Hall also says the Metropolitan Transit Service knew about the brownies after two drivers had to be taken to the hospital and his bosses let him continue to drive.
"At this time they know I've been poisoned," Hall said. "They know the brownies got some kind of drug in it and instead of saying 'hey stop the bus pull over we are sending you to the hospital.'"
"I was dry mouthed, light headed and I hear I was giggling a lot and real bubbly, so I guess I was high and didn't know it," Hall said.
Hall says his perfect record is now tarnished and he is on unpaid administrative leave for his positive drug test. He says the employee who brought in the laced treats is on paid leave.
That employee apparently didn't know they were filled with drugs. Hall says he was told he could go back to work if he agreed not to hold the M-T-S liable and reported to a drug abuse counselor.
No one from the MTS has given an interview about Hall's request, saying it is a personnel issue.
