Moore is accused of shooting a girl in the head at a house party in Henrico on Sept. 1. The girl survived the shooting. Due to the age of the victim, CBS 6 is waiting for police or her family to release her name before we publish the name given to us by friends and witnesses.

A group of Moore's friends and family members wore t-shirts and prayed outside of court before Monday's scheduled bond hearing. That hearing was continued to Tuesday morning.

"This is a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time," said Moore's mother Germaine Raines on Monday. "Marcus is not a criminal. He's not that type of a kid. You've got to pick and choose your friends. You've got to know your surroundings."
