Verizon’s equipment problem causes interruption in landlines
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Verizon says a network equipment issue at its Hull Street office has affected landline phone service to about 6,500 customers in South Richmond.
Customers who use Verizon’s landlines currently cannot make or receive calls.
The equipment problem, which began at 1 a.m., is not affecting cell phones or any of Verizon’s internet or TV services. Verizon is working on restoring service and estimates repairs should be completed by 12 p.m.
