JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WTKR) – Police are searching for a suspect who broke into  and stole cash from an auto store in James City County twice.

James City County police released surveillance images of the suspect Thursday breaking into the Impact Auto store on Pocahontas Trail.

According to officials, the suspect broke into the business through a side window and stole money from the cash register on Aug. 22 around 10 p.m. Police said the man was wearing a yellow striped Polo-style shirt, khaki pants and a baseball hat.

Then, a few days later, police said the man broke in through the same window on Aug. 25 around 11 p.m.  This time he was sporting a blue shirt, camouflaged pants and a brown fedora-style hat.

Police did find that hat and a women’s bicycle outside the shop they think the suspect abandoned.
