Sinkhole swallows car in North Carolina

Durham, NC – Police are trying to figure out what caused a sinkhole to open up, swallowing up a car in North Carolina.

Witnesses say the car was driving down Hillsboro Road when the road opened underneath it, sending the rear of the vehicle into the air.

Rescue crews say the sinkhole was about 8 feet deep and that no one was seriously hurt.
