(WTVR) - Winemakers in Central Virginia say this year has been a great one for grapes, but mother nature is putting on the pressure in the middle of harvest.
Remnants of Isaac are threatening this year's harvest, forcing wineries to pick grapes early this year to save the crop.
Keswick vinters say the rain dilutes the grapes, making the flavors become more bland and reducing sugar levels.
While the forecast may not be great for grapes,  wineries say it has been helping to bring business into tasting rooms.
