DOYLESTOWN, PA (WFMZ) - The historic sites of one Pennsylvania town are now the subject of an app.

The "Historic Doylestown" creation is the work a 17-year-old who recently rose to the rank of Eagle Scout.

Kyle Hanbicki said his special conservation project, aimed at preserving local history, took nearly a year of work. And Hanbicki said he enlisted fellow scouts to help research and write articles for 23 featured places of interest in the borough.

"I am hoping it will increase tourism to the borough it should be able to, it should be able to make people a bit more aware of all of the interesting historic things in Doylestown," said  Hanbicki.
