Trey Songz performs free Richmond concert to get out the vote

 Petersburg native Trey Songz will perform at the National, as part of President Obama’s re-election campaign.

A packed house is expected since the tickets were free.

Mike Street with 106.5 The Beat said that the Obama office called The Beat and broke the news.

The event is intended to help register and educate voters, while showcasing the international and national talent of Songz.

According to The National Theater, more than 1,200 people attend Wednesday concert.
