RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - CBS 6 viewer Richard Keyser spotted this photogenic waterspout tracking upstream along the Potomac River approximately 7 to 8 miles southeast of Colonial Beach, VA. Keyser says the waterspout lasted approximately 20 minutes, growing to a sizable, ominous-looking waterspout. The spout later "roped out" as it weakened and eventually dissipated.

Here are the series of photos by Keyser.
