PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WTVR) – A retired Central Virginia woman got some major attention inside the Circle D convenience store in Prince George when she scratched off a lotto ticket.

Linda Luellen was playing the $120 Million Cash Blowout game when she scratched off a ticket for the game’s $1 million top prize.

And customers in the store sure noticed something out of the ordinary was afoot.

“People came running and saying, ‘Are you okay?’” she later told Lottery officials. “Everybody was hugging me.”

Luellen said she bought the winning ticket with some of her previous scratcher ticket winnings and has no plans right now for her winnings..

The Virginia Lottery said Luellen had the option of taking the full prize, in annual payments over 25 years, or a one-time cash payment of $564,000 before taxes. She opted for the cash.
