(WTVR) - Will consumers pay more than 3 hundred dollars for a pair of sneakers? Nike thinks so.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Nike is pricing its new Lebron X basketball sneakers at $315. The shoes, named for the Miami Heat's power forward, comes with sensors that measure how high its wearer can jump.

Overall, basketball shoe prices are up more than 9 percent compared to a year go because it's become more expensive to make the shoes and ship them.
