Police arrest pair in connection to Richmond murder

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police announced the arrests of two people in connection with the August 5 shooting death of a man.

Kaliah K. Gresham, 22, and Tavon R. Ford, 23, are both charged with conspiracy to commit murder, according to an email from Richmond Police.

Police arrested the pair one day after George E. Clark, 59, was shot and killed along the 1900 block of Whitcomb Street. Gresham, Ford and Clark all lived on that block of Whitcomb Street, police said.

Police expected to make more arrests in the shooting. Investigators asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637 first using the word “ITip” followed by your tip.
