RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–Police have identified the remains that were found off Deepwater Terminal Road in 1992 as those of Angie Faye Toler.

DNA results that came back last week confirmed the link.

Toler went missing shortly after moving to Richmond from North Carolina, back in 1992.

Remains found near where she was last seen were never identified, because no family members could be found to ID the body.

Then, last year, at a medical examiner’s conference, someone recognized Toler’s picture, that’s when DNA tests were done.

Richmond police tell us they are not investigating Toler’s case, because foul play is not suspected.
