HENRICO, Va. (WTVR)--A Richmond-area youth figure skating coach was convicted today on 15 counts of possession of child pornography following his guilty plea in Henrico County Circuit Court.

David Keith Loncar, 47, was sentenced to 145 years by Judge Burnett Miller, with 141.5 years suspended. He will serve three and a half years active imprisonment.

Loncar offered to distribute child pornography videos to an undercover police officer through a peer-to-peer file sharing network, said officials.

The officer confirmed that the videos were child pornography and obtained a search warrant for the defendant's residence in Henrico County.

The Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force executed the search warrant and seized Loncar's computer, along with other digital media.

Officers also discovered that Loncar was currently downloading child pornography videos onto his computer.  Richmond Police Department forensic examiners recovered more than 75 child pornography videos on his computer.

In addition to the three and a half years of active incarceration, Loncar will be placed on an indefinite period of supervised probation upon his release, and will be required to be registered on the Virginia Sex Offender Registry, said officials.

Loncar also agreed to forfeit the equipment used to carry out the crime.
