More teenagers arrested for July 4 Henrico murder

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico Police announced the arrest of two more people in connection with the July 4 shooting death of 17-year-old Nathaniel Bryant.

Kevonte L. Hicks, 18, and Jonathan A. Coppedge, 18, were arrested Tuesday and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, according to an email from Henrico Police Lt. Linda Toney.

Earlier this week police arrested Jaron Alfonz Minnicks, 19, and charged him with conspiracy to commit murder and burglary. Earlier this month, police arrested David L. Lawson, 23, and charged him with conspiracy to commit murder.

All four suspects are charged in connection to the July 4 murder. Police  found Bryant’s body behind an apartment building along the 100 block of N. Laburnum Avenue. Police were called to the area to investigate a shooting around 7:00 p.m.
