LOS ANGELES, Calif. — A former Miss Nevada is suing the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department over a dramatic case of mistaken identity.

Caleche Ranae Manos said in November of last year, police kicked in her door, pointed guns at her and her fiance and watched as they forced the beauty queen to get out of bed naked.

Deputies had a search warrant for apartment C in Manos’ complex, but kicked in the door of apartment A.

Manos is seeking damages for negligence, false imprisonment and civil rights violations. She’s also accusing the deputy of sexual harassment due to the fact that police “lingered” on the scene even after realizing their mistake.
