RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The Richmond-based band Lamb of God's upcoming tour has been canceled because the band's lead singer is being held in a Czech Republic prison.

Randy Blythe, Lamb of God front man, remains locked up nearly a month after being seized at the Prague airport when he his fellow bandmates arrived for a show there. He’s accused of fatally injuring a fan he allegedly threw off the stage there two years ago.

Blyth remains behind bars -- without a formal charge -- despite making a $200,000 bond and then a doubled bond.

In a statement, the band said their tour with Dethklok, which was scheduled to begin on Aug. 1 in Seattle, was being canceled. Refunds are available for those folks who purchased tickets.

Additionally, the band said they plan to rebook the tour in the fall once Blythe is freed.

"The band thanks all of the fans who bought tickets for the tour and who have been supportive of Randy and the band over the last month that Randy has been held in Prague. Without the fans, there is no LAMB OF GOD," said the band in a statement.

A petition was started by fans, on the White House website,  and it currently has over 25,000 signatures. There has been no comment made by officials. [Click here to see the petition].
