RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – CBS 6 political analyst Dr. Bob Holsworth does not think it is a big deal that Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is leaving the state this week to campaign for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

“This is just a political ritual that’s going on here with one side blaming the other,” Dr. Holsworth said during an interview on CBS 6 News. “The public’s really going to focus on the job Bob McDonnell is doing as governor and not whether he’s out of the state a day here and a day there to campaign for Mitt Romney.”
