Police looking for Richmond bank robber

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police are searching for a man they say robbed a Richmond bank Tuesday afternoon.

Richmond police said a man walked into the Wells Fargo bank in the 7000 block of Marlowe Road around 12:20 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. 

Richmond police released a surveillance photo that showed the suspect, who they said did not display a weapon.

Authorities said the robber is as a black male in his late twenties to early thirties, about 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and between 200 to 220 pounds. The man had short black hair, a large, puffy beard and was last spotted wearing a black t-shirt with writing on it and khaki-colored pants.
