RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency says North Anna Nuclear Power Plant is prepared to handle a disaster, including another earthquake.

FEMA officials, along with Dominion Virginia Power, presented their findings in Richmond Friday of drills performed at the plant earlier this week. Those drills simulated a nuclear emergency.

FEMA says the plant and local emergency crews performed flawlessly. The agency says there were no missteps during the drills that could've put the public's health and safety at risk.
