CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police arrested a man and a woman accused of stealing cash and wallets from unlocked trucks parked at Virginia gas stations and travel centers.

Chesterfield Police, working with Hanover and New Kent County Sheriff’s deputies, arrested Cassandra L. Green, 48, and Rosoda D. Satchell, 31, on Monday. Both suspects live on the 3400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond. Both suspects are charged with credit card theft and credit card fraud.

Investigators said the pair were involved in at least a dozen thefts in Chesterfield, seven in Hanover and one in New Kent. Chesterfield Police Sgt. George Burgess said the suspects stole from trucks parked at gas stations and travel centers in those counties, not  from  trucks pulled over at state rest areas along Interstates 95 and 64. He added the investigation into the crimes is on-going and that additional charges are pending.

Green and Satchell are being held in Chesterfield jail without bond.
