(WTVR) — Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is eligible to receive a pension of nearly 59 thousand dollars a year.
One Pennsylvania lawmaker wants to change it by proposing a new law. Eugene DePasquale, a Democratic state representative in Pennsylvania, is proposing a law that would make Sandusky ineligible to receive his pension.
The law would prevent public employees from drawing a pension after they’ve been convicted of certain crimes against children. It would also include a clause that will make the law retroactive to June 1st.
Jerry Sandusky was convicted in June of sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years.
