RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -The 4th of July holiday is Wednesday and Virginia state law prohibits any fireworks that leave the ground. Fireworks are illegal in Metro Richmond and Chesterfield County (and that includes sparklers). Lieutenant Robbie Hagaman and Fire Marshall David Creasy from the Richmond Fire Dept. show us the dangers of small fireworks.
