Safety tips on what to do during a tornado

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Meterologists Zach Daniel and Mike Stone suggest a few safety tips to keep you safe during a tornado.

    • Get to a basement or a lower level.
    • Stay away from windows.  Go to a hallway, closet or bathroom.
    • Seek immediate shelter.
    • Keep as much space between you and the outside wall as possible.
