Police release sketch of ‘armed and dangerous’ Belle Isle shooter

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police released a sketch of a man wanted for a shooting on Belle Isle. The shooting victim remained in critical condition, police said Friday.

Police said the suspect in the sketch and another man approached the victim around midnight Tuesday and demanded money. Moments later, police said, one of the suspects shot the victim. Both suspects ran away down the bike path that leads to the BMX park. [Read more about the crime]

The suspect in the sketch is described as a white man, 18 to 25 years old, approximately 6’0” feet tall with a skinny build and shaved hair. He was last seen wearing a clean white t-shirt over top of blue jeans.

Police said the suspect in the sketch was with another man. Police described that suspect as a white man in his 40’s, approximately 6’1” tall, with a skinny but muscular build.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue, long-sleeved cotton t-shirt, faded blue jeans and a plain blue baseball cap. 

Police consider these men armed and dangerous.
