RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A former Henrico County sheriff’s deputy convicted of receiving child porn was sentenced to nearly eight years in prison, according to Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Neil MacBride.
According to court documents, Homeland Security agents were alerted to 53-year-old John Harlan Mullins after he accessed dozens of child pornography images from a child pornography website.
When agents searched Mullins’ Henrico home, they found hundreds of child porn and sexual abuse images saved onto a computer, according to the press statement.
