Robber at large after West End bank robbery

HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) A robber is on the run after a bank robbery in the West End. Police are searching by Pemberton Road.

Police sources said that one of the robbers got away after a robbery at Wells Fargo in the 1700 block of N. Parham. Police said that about 4:15 p.m., bank personnel reported that  a black, male entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money. 

The male suspect left on foot towards Parham Rd. 

Lt. C.J. Maurice said that no weapon was displayed and no injuries have been reported.

This location is near a daycare and a library. A librarian at the Tuckahoe library would confirm that police had been in the parking lot earlier, but would not comment as to why.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a baseball hat, grey polo shirt, and blue jeans.
