Va. mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus
Some mosquitoes in Virginia have tested positive for West Nile virus.
Officials in Prince William and Fairfax say they have found mosquito pools with the virus.
These cases were discovered a few weeks early from when they are typically found in July.
Recent rainfall and warm wneather are contributing to a population boost in mosquitoes.
No human cases have been reported this year.
