HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)–The storm from Monday has blown away, but in its wake is strewn debris that must be cleaned, and dumped.

Two Henrico County landfills are available for residents to dump all “vegetative” debris, which means brush and tree limbs but not roof shingles and construction materials–nor that ratty couch you’ve been thinking of dumping.

Residents can use the Springfield Road Landfill, at 10600 Fords Country Lane and the Charles City Road Landfill, at 2075 Charles City Road.

Both areas are open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m..

Have a lot of debris but no way to transport it? Henrico residents can arrange a pick-up by calling (804) 501-4275.

The cost is $43 for the service.

Limbs can not exceed 4 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length.

Details are available at www.co.henrico.va.us/utility. Click the links to “Solid Waste” and “Bulky Waste Collections.”

The drop-off and pickup services and their costs are standard for Department of Public Utilities.
